Hey hey sweetie pies! It’s been a while since I have done a blog post about blogging and *insert fancy accent* alas here we are! Today I am sharing 10 apps that are helpful with productivity and content creation but the current day blogger and entrepreneur. You read that right, so even if you’re not a blogger, this post can be beneficial. I find myself using a lot of these same apps for my business. I highly encourage you to do your own research as well to make the best decision possible.
WordPress
This is not sponsored. (but WordPress what’s good?) I love having the wordpress app on my phone so I can make edits and updates straight from my phone. I may or may not be typing this from my phone while I wait at my daughter’s doctor office. *wink wink* I can do everything from publishing blog posts to adding new pages and content. Uploading photos and videos are super easy and fast to do. Of course this only works if you have a blog that’s hosted on WordPress. Did I mention the app is FREE? It has freed me from being tied down to my desk just to get a blog post out.
Canva
I literally swear by this app. (I love it that much) I use this app to create all of the graphics for the blog as well as the boutique. Today’s blog banner? Made it on Canva babyy!! Whether you have the free or pro version, it is definitely worth it! Make everything from Instagram highlight covers to social media posts to resumes and invoices. There are so many templates to choose from and ways to customize to fit your brand.
RewardStyle
Rewardstyle is a platform where you can shop items that are posted by some of your favorite influencers. As an influencer on the platform, you share videos of products that you love in fashion, home decor or tech. Link those items within the platform and every time someone purchases through your page you receive a commission. It is a great way to make passive income but you do have to put in some work to reap the benefits. If you are someone who loves reviewing as well as sharing products you love on social media – this app is great. You link your products through Rewardstyle and then can link them through your Like To Know It app.
Like to Know It
This app has become super popular among big influencers and micro-influencers alike. You link items that are featured in your photos and for every purchase you receive a small commission. This is a great way to make passive income if you are one who loves to share products that you love. Recommend items to your subscribers and earn a little money for every person who purchases through your link!
Lightroom
Adobe lightroom is one of my favorite apps for quick and easy photo editing. With the use of pre-made presets or customized presets, photos can be edited and ready to post within minutes. I like that I can edit photos on my phone easily and create the aesthetic that I want. Being a mom and business owner, I need something that’s going to allow me to work on the go. Editing my photos for my blog and social used to take such a long time. Now I can edit and upload on the go or while cuddling up with my family watching tv.

Capcut
This app is a newer one to me. My experience is very limited with this app. However I do believe you need to have some form of a video editing app. There are several different ones out there so I recommend doing your research. Video content is becoming increasingly popular and practically needed in the blogging world. Even if it’s just for your social media, having an app like this one to shoot and edit videos on the go is a major timesaver.
Write on PDF
For business purposes, this app is essential for contracts and other important documents. When working with brands, they will often send over contracts and agreements to review and sign in pdf form. It’s super convenient to be able to review and edit on the go. You can quickly sign electronically and send it via email. It is so nice to not have to be tied down to my desk in order to get work done.
PayPal Business
This app is essential for me for money transactions. My clients that I have are through my blog. It is easy to give my clients my PayPal for payment options. Also for any brands that I work with, I give them my PayPal information for any payments outside of checks. This way my banking information stays private and I can transfer my funds to whatever bank I choose.
Fashmates
This app is great for creating graphics such as collages and mood boards. The difference between this and Canva is that the items are directly linked. I use this app to create all of my style sets for blog posts, looks for my LTK as well as my clients. I like being able to look directly within their platform for any particular item. You can also look up beauty and home decor items as well. You can also niche down your preferences with filters such as cost, color and brand. App is free and available on Google Play and Apple.
Zoom
This is an app that I downloaded last year. I had never really given Zoom any thought prior Covid. Once that happened, I found myself using it so much that I paid for the premium package. From meetings, classes, and social gatherings – I was using this app almost daily. It became such an integral part of my business with clients. Pretty easy to use and free for clients to download.
Do you agree with this list? What apps would you add or take away? Did you learn about an app that you want to try out? Let me know in the comments below!
