“Okay now we’ve already gotten off to a rough start, sit down and don’t touch NOTHING else!” This is what I want to tell 2021 already. Just had to get that sentiment out there. But anywho….
Hey hey sweetie pies! First post of the new year! *throws confetti* I hope you all have been well. (And to my new sweetie pies, heeeyyyy what’s good!) I wanted to take the first couple of weeks to just regroup, REST and plan for the year! Plus I wasn’t as motivated to jump into things at the start of the year. I think I needed to recover from the holidays and all the projects that I needed to do. Now I am back and eager to create content and start new things this year.
I don’t have an exact list of goals per se but I do want to become disciplined. That’s my word for the year, Discipline. I want to be disciplined in every aspect of my life. I want to do better to nurture myself as well as relationships. I want to become more disciplined with my blog and boutique. I want to become disciplined when it comes to self care. I want to make my well being a priority, not an afterthought. I definitely want to become disciplined when it comes to my health. This one is a struggle for me. I’m from Louisiana and I like to EAT!😂 Lastly more disciplined when it comes to my emotions and how I respond. I’ve learned that usually I reacted impulsively based off my emotions and not facts. This would cause me to react prematurely and left me feeling vulnerable and self conscious. I want to be fluid and flexible like water. Prepared to take shape however I need based on the circumstances.
Do you have personal or business goals? What’s your word for the year if you have one? Did this post make you think about changing your approach to the new year? Let me know in the comments!
