Nighttime Routine 2016

Hey sweetie pies, if you have checked out Friday’s blog post, then you saw my morning routine post. I explained the details of my morning routine and daily ritual habits. I also have a nightly routine that I swear by. After I get home I am eager to take my makeup off. So I use Ponds’ cold cream cleanser and my Neutrogena makeup remover wipes and it works like a charm! I just wet my face, apply the cleanser and then wipe it off. This combo is great because the cleanser breaks down all of the product and then I can get it off in one swipe. It is super quick, easy and affordable. After that usually do some type of workout. Depending on the day, it will vary. Some days I do yoga, some days I do cardio and others core and strength. 
By this point, I am eager to shower, really wash my face and relax. I light my aromatherapy candle and let it burn for the next 30 minutes or so while I finish getting ready for bed. (After having makeup on all day, I don’t want to go work out building up a sweat and I got makeup on, bleh!) I use my cream cleanser by Clean & Clear (the same cleanser I use in the morning). I know some would argue that you should use a different cleanser for the morning than you use at night but I disagree. This cleanser works great for me soooooo… why try to fix something that isn’t broken? 
After I shower, I put my hair bonnet on (natural sistahs yall know what I am talking about!). I personally enjoy using this satin hair bonnet. It is super affordable and big enough to hold even if you have rollers in your hair, yes please!
I then use my fave body butter to moisturize my skin and it is amazing! If you haven’t checked out my April Favorites post where I raved about this product, then you should definitely check it out! I use this product on the regular and I am so obsessed that I keep multiples jars of this in stock! I often buy multiple jars at a time so that I always have some on me! 
I use this Pillow mist every night. I mist a little on my pillow and it smells SO GOOD! I like to use the lavender + chamomile scent and just breathe this in as I am relaxing with my boyfriend David watching tv or while reading. 
When I am ready to doze off, I like to use my sleep mask. It is great for blocking out any visual stimuli and helps me to fully relax. I also find that when I use my sleeping mask that it is easier for me to calm my mind and quiet my thoughts for a more peaceful sleep. 
So that is my nightly routine, if you noticed, my morning routine seems to have more structure than my nightly routine. The reason for that is because I get home at different times every night and it depends on what my schedule allows and how tired I am lolz.
