“I am a feminist, and what that means to me is much the same as the meaning of the fact that I am black; it means that I must undertake to love myself and respect myself as though my very life depends upon self-love and self-respect.” ~ June Jordan

Hey hey sweetie pies! Today’s post is a look that I have had in heavy rotation. I mean we all have that “no fail” outfit that we love to wear any and everywhere. It is super comfy and you still look put together. I opted for this cotton, slightly oversized button down and dark wash fitted jeans. I love wearing it with sandals for daytime, heels for nighttime and sneakers for weekend. For the daytime, I pretty much style it like I have here. I have just wore the shirt as is with my jeans cuffed. I paired it with this convertible necklace, stud earrings, a crossbody bag, gold sandals and some simple sunnies. I opted for the cateye shape since they are totally trending at the moment. Not to mention, they have been a personal fave for awhile now.
For a nighttime look, I would unbutton the last two and tie it at the bottom to show a little midriff. I would opt for a minimal pair of heels with some matching statement earrings. Swap out the crossbody for an oversized clutch handbag. I linked some examples below.
For the weekend, opt for a half tuck with the shirt. Swap out the heels for some comfy sneakers, opt for a comfy hat and the same sunnies from the daytime look. Complete the look with a minimal backpack to carry those necessities for a day in the city. I linked some examples below.
We all should have an outfit that is so versatile to take from work, to date night and to weekend/brunch with your girls. I actually have a couple of “outfit recipes” if you will, of different looks with just a change of accessories. So if that is something that you are interested in, chime in the comment section. I would love to hear from you!
As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stornie J
