“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” ~ Anne Frank
Hey hey sweetie pies! This first day of Fall came on the 22nd and I figured that it was time that I have a lookbook for you all! I have been busy creating various style sets for not only your inspiration but also for your shopping pleasure. With so many trends and style ground to cover, I figured that I would break this up into 2 parts so that it is not so overwhelming.
Jewel tones are perfect for fall and winter seasons respectively. When you opt for jewel tones in luxe fabrics, you have a style match made in heaven! Not only will this give your look depth but everyone will be seeking you for fashion advice! Leopard has a basic and wardrobe necessity in one’s closet regardless of personal style. Leopard compliments colors and other prints alike. When you need a re-vamping for your wardrobe, try experimenting with leopard – the results may surprise you! Tip: Try getting your pieces in a large leopard print so that your outfit looks like high quality like the bag below.
It is definitely fun when your style speaks for itself. Graphic tees have definitely been trending since Spring and this trend shows no sign of slowing down! Keep your accessories to a minimum. Try a few accessories that possess small details to make them unique such as the sunnies. They are just yellow lens sunnies but the shape of the frame is definitely unique and screams Hot Right Now! Plus red is being seen everywhere this Fall, so feel free to jump on this bandwagon! Red booties are being found in all the high street stores such as Zara and Topshop.
Back in June, I did a post on How to make lingerie work for daytime but this look is an upgraded edgy version of that look. Bodysuits are so slimming and flattering when paired with boyfriend jeans. This look is great hitting up a bar with friends. It offers just enough sex appeal yet it fully covers! I opted for this lace bodysuit to create juxtaposition with the distressed boyfriend jeans. A fun handbag compliments perfectly adding the perfect unexpected twist to this look.
The grey plaid blazer is being seen everywhere this season! While most style bloggers and fashionistas opt for an oversized version of this Fall staple, you can definitely opt for a fitted one. While this blazer is definitely versatile, I created this look with my minimalists in mind. Try this blazer with an all black outfit and let your blazer be the focal point. Plus this look can work for a number of occasions.
Athleisure has now been taken to an entire new level. Button down track pants are making a comeback from the 90s. To make it modern, try pairing these pants with some sexy booties with a crop top and a denim jacket to wear off the shoulders. Cold shoulders are definitely still trending and if you are still on the fence – let this look inspire you.
Have a minimalist style but like trying trends in a small way? Then this look is perfect for you! I love these cropped trousers which can definitely be worn during the Fall season. If you caught my post, How to dress like a top fashion blogger, then you already know how I feel about white blouses. (If you haven’t go check it out and come back. We will be here when you get back! lolz) This blouse is perfect with these jewels from C+I. Complete the look with a pop of red and leopard and you’re set! I love this look so much! Maxi skirts/maxi dresses with booties is all the rage this season! (There’s that red again!) With red making such a bold statement for this look, I kept the rest of my accessories pretty simple. There is something so gorgeous when dealing with simple but beautiful accessories. What do you sweetie pies think?
Mixing metals is definitely nothing new in my opinion but if you haven’t tried this trend, try it now! A safe bet is pairing gold and rose gold pieces together. But I definitely applaud anyone who goes all out with this trend. Also statement earrings are definitely having a moment. I like the idea of pairing them with a chunky knit like I did below. I love these architectural earrings they are so darn pretty!
Don’t put those rompers away just yet! Pair your fave with a pair of over the knee boots and a floppy hat! This look is perfect for those days that you don’t want and/or have a lot of time to fuss with an outfit but you still want to look stylish. You can never go wrong with all black. There is a chic element to wearing all black.
Like I mentioned above, the off the shoulder trend is definitely going into the Fall season as a style must have! I kept this look very simple pairing this blouse with a pair of flare jeans and simple mules. For a little sparkle, I opted for these studs. I loved the shape! Grab your crossbody bag and you are set!
