Hey sweetie pies! It is finally Friday! I hope everyone’s first week back wasn’t too rough on you. My week tried to come for me real quick around midweek but I wasn’t having that. (lolz) For today’s look I wanted to share this outfit that I wore earlier this week. I was pleasantly surprised at how it came together. (I liked it!)
I think the reason why this worked was because not only the use of different textures, but also proportions. I started with this basic soft t-shirt dress and then added this chunky knit sweater vest. I then opt for this floral scarf. I bet you’re probably wondering why did I go for this scarf in the middle of winter and my answer is simple, because it is black! Yes it does have multicolored flowers on it but it works since most of my look consists of basic nudes. I threw on these tall chunky boots and opted for my backpack purse in a matching color. Not only are these boots comfortable, but were ideal since it rained the day I wore these. #Functional
I am in LOVE with bag charms! I have recently picked them up in all fun colors such as this powder blue one. I think it adds a fun twist to your bag especially if you are carrying an old purse that you are kind of bored with. I got this bag charm from Rue 21 for $5!!! I feel like I am giving you guys total 90s Clueless vibe! (Whaddya guys think?)
Any exciting plans this weekend for you all? I will be celebrating my Frat brothers’ Founders day which is tomorrow! Happy Early Founders Day Frat! If you see a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc tomorrow, give him a big hug! I know I will be covering my boyfriend in hugs and kisses (He’s a Sigma…) Whatever you are doing, have fun and be safe!
