Hey my Sweetie Pies! It’s Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and are back to the daily grind, I know I am! In today’s post I am going to show you how to rock the same pattern twice all in one outfit! Sounds totes cray cray right? But it’s true! Stay tuned…
Oh and yes as you guys to tell I am rocking the au naturale mane! Did you guys miss it or nah? Lolz I know at least one of my readers did ;-). Anywho, in other news, I stumbled upon this outfit by just experimenting. I always think I come up with the best outfits when I am just “messing around” with different pieces. Does anyone have that same kind of luck? When I try too hard, it seems like dressing is a much more daunting task. (Le Struggle)
Styling an outfit similar to this one is not hard at all in my opinion. I am going to share a few tips if you want to rock an outfit like this one. First, make sure most of your items are a little more mute and/or smaller such as this dress and let one piece be bold such as this top. That way, the look doesn’t become overwhelming. I also suggest that since I am doing stripes, you try to find them going opposite ways of one another. For example, the dress is horizontal and the top is vertical. I also opted to keep my accessories all the same color. I am really into metallics right now so I opted for all silver accessories. My silver sandals I got last year from @Payless and my necklace and earrings are from +Chloeandisabeldotorg.
And can we just take a moment to talk about these sunnies! I am in love! Big shoutout to my cousin Morgan for getting me these! I saw Gwen Stefani rocking some sunnies like these in my favorite magazine +People StyleWatch and the ones she was rocking were around 60 bucks but I got these for a steal at +Vans for $12!!! And I just love love love these! I like to compliment these sunnies with a bold red lip and my look feels complete!
