Shout out to the Netflix series Emily in Paris for inspiring today’s look! (Anyone else watched bc I am loving the style!!!!) Beret hats are the perfect accessory for an effortless, chic aesthetic. A beret hat can be the perfect winter hat for your wardrobe because you can style it up or down, preppy or cool – your options are limitless.
The base of this outfit is a simple white button down paired with a pair of slightly distressed denim. Next I added these booties (SIMILAR) and then added this vest. Grandpa sweater vests are a surprising trend this season. Thankful to my Nana and my procrastination – I came across this beautiful velvet vest. Thanks Nana for giving me this a few years ago! (Even though I didn’t appreciate it then.) I am so glad that I kept it! It went perfectly adding depth to the look. I already knew that I wanted to wear the beret so once I found this vest – it clicked. For additional accessories, I opted for acrylic hoop earrings, a 3-tiered layered necklace, cateye sunnies and small handbag with an acrylic chain strap.
