OOTD: Silky Skirts and Chunky Knits

Hey hey sweetie pies! This was an outfit that I wore earlier in the month. One of my recent style obsessions has been snakeskin print! I literally want to wear it ALL. THE. TIME! I have been loving this midi skirt that I snagged awhile back. I had been itching to wear it and I love how the look came out!

This skirt is so luxe and silky so I definitely wanted to pair it with contrasting textures. I then went for this sweater that I’ve had for literally forever. I tend to wear it off the shoulder now and I cuffed the sleeves so that it wouldn’t drown my frame. I went for a half tuck so I could add a little definition in the waist. This belt bag perfectly reinforced my waist as well. I like to wear it a little off center. I have been loving this statement coat. In the winter, you are wearing your coat a lot so why not get one in a bold color or fun print? It complimented the outfit so well and didn’t compete with the skirt because of the similar colors.

Completing the look with a pair of studded thigh high boots to add just a bit of edge. Playing with layers can be really fun during the colder months because the options are endless. For jewelry, I went for these silver textured disc earrings. You guys know I live for a good statement earring and these added the perfect touch of sophistication. Not to mention (but to mention) they also complimented my curls well. 🙂

I have so many ideas for styling this skirt well into spring. Snakeskin print is definitely trending for Spring so if you’ve been interested in trying the trend I highly suggest it. Let me know if you guys would like for me to do a roundup post of different snakeskin pieces. I would totally be game for that.

What do you sweetie pies think of this look? Let me know in the comment section below!

XO, Stormie
