1. Condition and Stretch
I love taking a good hour or so to condition or stretch the day before. It is a form of therapy for me. Plus it makes me feel good going into that intensive or audition.
2. Take a bubblebath
Lighting a candle, playing some music and taking a hot bubblebath just does something for your girl. I definitely have gotten in the habit of doing this for show days. If you are interested in what I do to prepare for a show, let me know in the comments below!
3. Check my copies of my resume and headshots
I usually check for this a couple of days in advance but because I am majorly OCD, I often check again the day before.
4. Meditate
Meditation has helped me so much! There’s this app that I have been using that I have been obsessed with. Check out my updated morning routine post to check out which meditation apps I use!
5. Exfoliate
I believe in exfoliating for a number of reasons. For one, I love for my skin to feel smooth all the time – plus my makeup goes on sooo much easier if I exfoliate. I love gently exfoliating my face and then applying a face mask. The face mask may vary based on what my skin need the most at the moment. I can do a post on that sharing what face masks I like to use/recommend if you guys like! Just let your girl know in the comments below!
6. Pray
I pray every single day. But I like to take some time after I meditate to pray about auditions. I pray for no injuries, the ability to do my best, that His will be done and I thank Him for the opportunity to do what I love.
