Happy hump day sweetie pies! For today’s post I am sharing this outfit that I wore last week. I wanted to wear this utilitarian jacket and I figured why not offer to wear it with some olive pants and oversized button down? I created the side tuck so that the shirt wouldn’t overwhelm my frame. Plus I don’t want to look like a bag lady. I wanted to keep this look a little tough so I opted for these boots – plus they are comfortable! I threw on my backpack purse and completed the look with these sunnies, layered gold jewelry and a red lip. The red lip allowed me the feminine touch that I wanted while keeping the rest of my outfit casual with a slight edge. The best tip when layering necklaces is to opt for various lengths so that it doesn’t overwhelm the look or come off tacky.
My show “One Nation Project” opens Friday and I am beyond excited! I haven’t played in any musicals since college so it is pretty exciting! The show and cast are great alike and this journey has been so much fun! It has been a challenging yet rewarding experience that I will be sharing more of on the blog soon.
