Spring Lookbook 2017 : How to Pair Classics with fun Trends to Create an Envy-worthy Wardrobe (Pt. 1)

Hey hey sweetie pies! The Spring season is well underway and the world is filled with pollen and climbing temps – well at least that’s the case here in Houston. As always, I have a lookbook here for your inspiration and shopping pleasure. For this season’s lookbook, I wanted to focus on incorporating seasonal trends with timeless classics. I also wanted to showcase how you can incorporate timeless trends such as pastels in Spring and pair with current trends such as metallic. As always, I have linked the items or similar below each look. Since I love you guys (and lookbooks) so much, I am doing a 2 part series for this season! That’s right, I will be doing a second part that will be coming to the blog in the next week or so. 🙂 But for the meantime, enjoy!

For this first look, you may already have a bag in a nice neutral color. I decided to use that as the base for this outfit. This in turn created a soft feminine vibe – great for a wedding or brunch even.

Who doesn’t own a pair of aviators these days? Instead of doing a casual or rocker look, I opted for this jumpsuit that has a nice sweetheart hemline and a fun cutout at the torso. Plus it cinches in at the waist to flatter your figure. Throw on some fun jewelry and lace up booties and you are set!
