Transitional Weather Skin Routine – How to Maintain Soft Moisturized Skin + Giveaway with BVSpa

Hey sweetie pies! I mentioned in my previous post about the inconsistency of the weather in Houston and how we are slowly transitioning into Spring. In that post, I mentioned how to style for such weather and I figured I should share my routine to help take care of my skin for this tricky weather. 

Overall, my skin is pretty dry – even more with the cooler temps – so it is imperative that I have something to keep my skin moisturized. I shower and use this exfoliator from BVSpa once a week. It really keeps my skin smooth and soft. You squeeze it out of the tube (how ever much you desire) and apply it to the body. I rub it in until the sugar dissolves and becomes a milky consistency. It breaking down to this consistency is definitely great because I don’t have to worry about it affecting my drainage system in my tub. 🙂 

Afterwards, I follow with this body lotion which is amazing because it provides moisture for my skin without being too heavy. The consistency is great to use, even on warmer days! Sometimes lotions/creams are so thick to the point where it makes you sweat even more on warmer days but not this one! Also it comes in one of my favorite scents, lavender, mixed with rosemary – which gives it a refreshing scent. I have also come to realize that this lotion pairs well with ‘Magic in the Air’ body spray from Bath and Body Works. (Who would’ve thought?!)
