Rainy Day Lookbook

“You may not be a Picasso or Mozart but you don’t have to be. Just create to create. Create to remind yourself you’re still alive. Make stuff to inspire others to make something too. Create to learn a bit more about yourself.” ~ Frederick Terral
Hey sweetie pies! Do you guys remember the statement that says, “April showers bring May flowers”? If that statement is true, I can’t wait to see these May flowers! Houston has been experiencing quite a bit of rain over the past couple of weeks. And I mean like so much rain that it flooded! (Where they do that at?!) I know during those days (and I mean those days I could leave the house without floating away) it was a little bit tricky to still be stylish. I mean the struggle can be real when it comes to looking put together and it is raining like hurricane katrina outside. (Well not quite, but you get the point.) I ALWAYS struggled to try to look cute but still functional while trying not to look like a bag lady. (BTW – MISSION FAILED!) Is anyone else guilty of just throwing on anything when it is raining outside? I know I know, it can be super tempting to hide in an oversized hoodie and leggings when it is gloomy with a never-ending overcast. However, Don’t Do It!! You can be stylish and put together, regardless of weather conditions, so that you can still make a fashion statement at the office, out with friends or date night. Check out these looks that I created with rainy days in mind and let me know what you think!
