“How we spend our days is how we spend our lives. What we do with this hour and with that one, is what we are doing.” ~ Annie Dillard
Hey Sweetie Pies! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! In today’s style post, I want to share another budget friendly way to update your look and that’s with mixing textures. Now what I mean by that is mixing different fabrics and materials to create a new creative look. You would be pleasantly surprised at what items you may already have at your disposal and how you have probably already mixed textures! I am going to share with you some looks that will inspire you to revamp your wardrobe!
In this look, I created a gray monochrome with a touch of blush in the outfit. The different textures present in this look are leather, knit, silk and wool, which definitely makes for an interesting look.
This look is definitely for the edgy sistah who is not afraid to experiment with her style. This is definitely a creative and contrasting look with the velvet, feathers, tights, and the leather handbag.
This fun and sexy look is so adorbz and totally glamorous which means it’s right up my alley! Lolz This fun look consists of fluffy fur, shiny sequins, and luxe suede.
This flirty feminine look is great and the knit sweater added an unexpected twist. The tulle creates a soft feminine touch to this outfit.
This last edgy number adds a touch of sparkle with the knit turtleneck crop top and sparkly jewels. A bag charm in a soft pink adds a subtle pop of color to an otherwise neutral look. This look oozes cool and laid back with textures such as leather, denim, knit and faux fur.
