“Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much.” ~Blaise Pascal
Hey my sweetie pies! I hope you all had a great weekend! In today’s post, I want to share one last style tip of this summer to fall style series and it is featuring the mini skirt. During the summer it was easy to style a denim mini skirt by throwing a on a tank top and flip flops, but how do you style one for the fall or the winter? Well I have one word for you, TEXTURE! So outside of the usual and expected leggings or tights to throw on under the skirt, try a mini in an unexpected texture. What do I mean by texture you ask? A different material such as suede, leather, velvet – your look will easily scream fall! Also a dark neutral color wouldn’t hurt either such as this dark burgundy or camel.
You also can’t go wrong with layers such as leggings or tights on the bottom and jackets and scarves on top. My golden rule is if you’re covered on the bottom you can show a little skin on top and vice versa. The key to this is balance. If you all would like for me to do a video showing some examples on how to find balance in your outfits, make sure to comment below!
I hope this helped you guys and I hope you enjoyed.
As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie
