Fun Weekend Pt. 1

Hey Loves! I apologize for being MIA the past couple of days. I have had a fun, jam packed weekend. I have also been out of town for a little mini vacay with my bf. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had me a fun filled extended weekend. It first started with my Line sister Christy’s birthday Friday. We celebrated with some of her closest friends, classmates and sorority sisters for a fun lunch. It was so great to see that all these people love and care for my line sister so much. I don’t have many pics myself from the lunch but I had to share what I did. You have to excuse my pics, I was laughing the entire time! My line sister was saying some crazy stuff with her silly self!

I opted for a simple but chic outfit with this blouse courtesy of my aunt Erika. I paired it with these jeans that I got from Delia’s with my leopard pumps! You know Leopard is the new neutral for Fall if you ask me lolz. Later on that evening I was representing my sorority in a stroll off competition. Afterwards I turned in early because I had to get up early the next day. The next day I got up early to catch my nephew’s last football game before getting on the road. Big congrats to my nephew’s team for winning! I was a very proud auntie lolz. After the game my boyfriend and I got on the road to New Orleans. We ended up going to Harrah’s casino and going on Bourbon St. and Canal St. If you have ever been to New Orleans then you know that those two streets are very popular in the area and are home to many restaurants, pubs, shops and bars.

For this look I opted for something stylish but comfortable because the night called for a lot of walking. I wore this white sheer ruffled top that I got over a year ago. I can’t remember from where exactly. (Sorry!) I paired it with these pants from New york and Company with my infamous denim jacket and sequined flats. I truly had fun until the wee hours of the morning. But this is only the first part? Want to know what else my weekend entailed? Stay Tuned!
